Art to Wear

Masterpiece inspired in The Dance Headdress with hare crest (Sibonel). Republic of Guinea – Baga – wood pigment is part of the exhibition for 3 months in the Appleton Museum Ocala – Florida.
Expressing the handmade process, I am inspired by this wood sculpture and integrating my culture using recycled rope colors to create a dress with layers to represent the dance and celebration of both cultures. like an indigenous textile that expresses a joy inheriting the manual work of my ancestors, that rope is the rope of life, it connects me from my emotions to my memories.
