Innovative Costume Exhibition of The 21 Century: The Next Generation

The international exhibition , at The Main Building of the A. A. Bakhrushin State Central Theater Museum is a unique international project implemented with the assistance of the International Organization of Scenographers, Theater Architects, and Technologists (OISTAT), The United States Institute for Theatre Technology (USITT), Carnegie Mellon University (USA), National Academy of Theater Arts of China (NACTA), and Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, as well as the State Historical Museum and the Center for Contemporary Art MARS in Moscow.
Artists from 47 countries took part in the project. The exhibition presents bold, innovative, and revolutionary experimental works by theater costume designers, designers of alternative fashion, and representatives of all trends and genres of modern art associated with the creation of an innovative costume, whether on the stage, in a gallery, or on the street of your city.  Throughout the exhibition, you will see original costumes made from non-traditional materials such as organic plastic, latex, biflex, glass, paper, wood, and metal, among artistic photographs of models, installations, sketches. and videos created by a new generation of 21st century artists.
